Step 1: Open System Preferences
Step 2: Click Accessibility
Step 3: Click Mouse & Trackpad
Step 4: Click Trackpad Options…
Step 5: Click Enable dragging
Step 6: Select “three finger drag” in the drop down box
Not only does the three finger drag gesture allow you to move around windows and other desktop items, it also allows you to select text.
When attempting to transfer a file using Bluetooth File Exchange from a Mac OS X 10, a message may appear which states that the Mac does not have the necessary services.
To send a file using Bluetooth to a computer running Mac OS X 10, Leopard, you must enable Bluetooth Sharing in Sharing preferences. By default, Bluetooth Sharing is turned off in OS X.
- On each Mac OS X 10, from the Apple menu, choose System Preferences.
- From the View menu, choose Sharing.
- Check (click) the “On” box next to Bluetooth Sharing.
- Close the Sharing preferences window.
